One record. A different question for every institution.
Each customer asks the same thing in its own words: when they set a date, do they keep it? Here is how each uses KeptIndex, and what to start with.
Asset managers and hedge funds
“Can I trust management’s next date?”
- Check a company’s record on the same kind of milestone before a catalyst: its last readouts, launches or plant openings.
- The Commitment Calendar shows what is coming due across your coverage, with days to deadline.
- Credibility Drift alerts (in development) will flag companies that start moving dates or softening wording before a miss.
- Point-in-time history for testing delivery signals: each outcome records when its evidence became public where known (65% of checked records so far), so tests can exclude the rest.

Banks, lenders and project finance
“Will this borrower complete on time?”
- A borrower’s record of meeting its own announced completion and start-up dates, with the filings behind each.
- Monitoring of open project commitments across a loan book, with alerts as dates approach or move.
- Evidence for credit committees that is independent of the borrower’s own presentation.
Start with: a Commitment Record for three borrowers you know well, to test it against your own files.
D&O insurers and brokers
“Which insureds carry the most disclosure risk?”
- Missed and withdrawn public commitments often feature in securities claims. We record them, dated and sourced, before any claim is filed.
- Screen a whole book by delivery record, drift and recent misses at renewal.
- A Commitment Record for any account under review, delivered within days.

Law firms and litigation funders
“What did management promise, when, and what happened?”
- A complete, source-linked timeline of a company’s dated public commitments and every restatement.
- Permanent Kept IDs that can be cited in complaints, briefs and expert reports.
- In a person-checked Commitment Record, every included outcome checked by a person against the filings. Automated $49 and $149 reports are labelled as automated and are a different standard.
- Market-adjusted share-price moves on each day a missed commitment was disclosed, the starting point for loss-causation analysis. How we measure it
- Early warning: open commitments at high Miss Risk, before the miss is disclosed.

Boards, investor relations and corporate strategy
“How does our delivery record look from outside, and against peers?”
- See your own record as investors will see it, and correct any factual error before a score is published.
- Benchmark delivery against sector peers.
- A Board Delivery Pack: management’s record against its own targets, quarter by quarter (coming 2027).
Buying a product never changes an entry, an outcome or a score. Corrections are open to everyone on the same terms.
Governments and public agencies
“Which announced investments and projects were actually delivered?”
- A neutral, source-linked register of investment pledges and project commitments, and whether each was grounded on time.
- Delivery records for contractors and investors, to inform future approvals and incentives.
- The same published method, so results can be explained to the public and to investors.

Journalists and academics
“Is this claim backed by the record?”
- Free public access to every entry and its sources, with permanent IDs to cite.
- A free academic licence for research use, with attribution.
Built for specific industries
The method is the same everywhere; the promises differ. Each industry gets a record built around the milestones that move its decisions. On-time rates are preliminary, from checked outcomes since 2016.
Biotech Catalyst Record
For healthcare funds and analysts: how often a company has met its own dates for trial starts, data readouts, submissions and launches. A regulator’s decision is recorded as “condition not met”, never as the company’s miss. Regulatory filings were met on time 67% of the time.
Deal Completion Record
For merger-arbitrage and event-driven funds: an acquirer’s history of closing announced transactions by the date it gave. Deals close on time 80% of the time, so a buyer that misses is an outlier worth knowing.
Project Delivery Record
For lenders, project-finance teams and infrastructure investors: commercial-operation dates, plant openings and capacity targets, against the sponsor’s own dates. New facilities are the hardest promise to keep: 58% on time.
D&O Disclosure Screen
For D&O underwriters and brokers: a whole book screened at renewal for recent misses, withdrawals and moved dates, with the filings behind each.
Launch Reliability Record
For technology and consumer analysts: product, shipping and store-opening dates against delivery. Product launches were on time 68% of the time.
Public Investment Register
For governments and development agencies: announced investments and public projects, and whether each was grounded on time, built from public sources.
