The KeptIndex platform
Every promise recorded. Every deadline checked. One number that tells you who delivers.
Organisations announce what they will do and by when. Few keep a systematic, source-linked score. KeptIndex turns public commitments into a record, a measure and a set of signals that decision-makers can rely on.
Proprietary method The KeptIndex process was designed by Kept Index LLC. A U.S. patent application for the process is in preparation. Publishing the rules below lets anyone check our work; it is not a licence to use the process.
Three layers, one system
- KeptIndexThe Record. Every dated commitment in the company’s own words, with its SEC source, an archived copy, every later restatement and the outcome. Each has a permanent Kept ID you can cite.
- KeptScoreThe Measure. How often an organisation delivers its own commitments by the date it set, out of 100, with the number of outcomes behind it shown every time.
- Kept IntelligenceThe Signals. Alerts, calendars, benchmarks and reports built on the record, that tell you what is coming due, who is slipping and how a company compares.
KeptIndex: the Record
Browse companiesThe foundation everything else rests on. Free to read on this site, and licensed as data for institutions.
Public company records
Every tracked company’s commitments, deadlines and outcomes, each linked to the filing it came from.
Kept ID citations
A permanent identifier for every commitment, such as KI-C-2024-NVDA-000417, so a report, a filing or a court document can cite it and it will never change.
Ten-year history
S&P 500 companies from 2016, including those that later left the index, with the date each piece of evidence became public, so research can limit look-ahead bias (records without a known evidence date are flagged for exclusion).
KeptScore: the Measure
Read the methodologyOne number that answers a question every investor, lender and partner asks: when this organisation sets a date, does it keep it?
KeptScore
On-time delivery over the last three years, out of 100, from confirmed outcomes only. Public scores follow the consultation on Methodology 2.0.
10-Year Record and confidence range
The long-run record beside the headline score, and a range that shows how certain each score is, so 15 outcomes are never read like 80.
Mix-adjusted score and peer rank
A view that allows for how hard a company’s commitments are, and where it stands in its sector and index.
