Promises made. Proof on record.

We turn corporate commitments into evidence-backed intelligence: what companies promised, what changed, and what they delivered. Every entry quotes the company’s own words and links to the SEC filing, so you can check it yourself.

How it works

Built on a process we designed from the ground up

KeptIndex runs on its own commitment-tracking process. It turns a company’s own words into a permanent, citable record, follows each promise through every restatement, and settles it only on graded primary evidence, never more precise than the source.

  • Permanent Kept IDsEvery promise gets a citation that never changes.
  • Commitment DNADeliverable, target, conditions and dependencies, structured.
  • Lineage & driftEvery restatement linked; slipped dates and cut targets flagged.
  • Graded evidenceOutcomes from primary sources, with honest date precision.
  • Layered checkingIndependent AI checks, then review by people.

Human review in progress

Checked by AI first, now being reviewed by people

Every record is read from the SEC filing under fixed, published rules, and new quotes are checked word for word against the source, with any that cannot be found held back. In October 2026 we began reviewing records by hand against both source documents, starting with the companies our customers order, and the review team is growing. Each entry carries its review status, so you can always see exactly what has been checked and how.

  1. 1 · Read from the sourceAI extracts the promise and the outcome from SEC filings; quotes are checked against the source.
  2. 2 · Independent AI checks5,609 outcomes confirmed by agreeing, independent checks on primary evidence.
  3. 3 · Human reviewReviewers check identity, scope, deadline, evidence, conditions and history. 4 outcomes person-checked so far, and growing every week.
  4. 4 · Paid reports: 100% person-checkedEvery record in a person-checked report is reviewed by a named analyst before it is delivered. Reviewer and date are stated.

How each entry is made

  1. Record the promise

We read press releases filed with the SEC and note commitments with a clear deliverable and a calendar deadline, keeping the exact wording, a link, and an archived copy.

  2. Wait for the deadline

Nothing is judged early. Each entry stays open until its deadline passes, plus 30 days for announcements to appear.

  3. Check the evidence

We look for public records of what happened. Only clear evidence produces a result; where we find none, we say so rather than guess.

  4. Review by people

Reviewers check records against both source documents. Every record in a paid person-checked report is reviewed by a named analyst before delivery.

All questions
Is every record checked by a person?

Not yet, and we label it. Every record is checked first by agreeing independent AI reviews against the SEC source; human review began in October 2026 and is growing. Every record in a paid person-checked report is reviewed by a named analyst before delivery, and each entry on the site shows exactly which level of checking it has had. Data quality and review.

Why do people still check after the AI checks agree?

Independent checks can agree and still be wrong in the same way: the wrong transaction, a fiscal year read as a calendar year, a partial delivery read as full. A person checks identity, scope, deadline, evidence, conditions and history against both documents, signs the review, and takes responsibility for adverse findings. That signature is what a court filing, a credit file or a newsroom needs.

What evidence does a paid report include?

For each commitment: the company’s original words and SEC link, every restatement, and the outcome evidence. Person-checked reports add an evidence pack: every corroborating source we can find, including company press releases, investor-relations pages, exchange notices and independent news, each graded A (regulatory) to D, so you can see how strongly each finding is supported.

Can I see a sample before I buy?

Yes. Name a company and we send a sample of its record within one business day, free. If a finding in a paid report is later shown wrong by a primary source, we correct it within two business days and reissue the report at no charge. Get a free sample.

Can a company challenge a finding?

Yes, free. Any company can claim its page, submit evidence through the right of reply, and request a correction. Material changes are logged publicly. Right of reply · Corrections.

Can a company pay to change its record?

No. No company can pay to add, change or remove an entry, and a company that uses Kept Desk or claims its page gets exactly the same public record as every other company. Findings change only on public evidence, through the corrections process, and every change is logged. If a company covered by a paid report is also a Kept Desk customer, the report says so. Independence policy.

How do I know the method is sound?

We publish the rules you need to check our work: what counts as a commitment, how outcomes are classified, how evidence is graded, and how to challenge an entry. Every record links to the company’s own words and the evidence, and our measured error rates are on the quality page.

Also from KeptIndex: pilot programmes applying the same method beyond listed companies, and KeptIndex India (coming 2027).
